Ruben Mendoza is a former NFL offensive guard who is now the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of Wayne State University. Ruben has coached at South Carolina, Tennessee - Chattanooga , Clemson, Ole Miss, Mississippi and Notre Dame and as you can ascertain has a vast experience in the profession. Under Rueben's guidance Wayne State is a perennial contender for top-10 honors in the NACDA Learfield Sports' Directors Cup. With Mendoza's direction the University just completed their new Athletic Department weight room. The Warriors will be Getting Stronger in Detroit.

West Virginia football started in 1891, since then they have accumulated a 727–482–45 record and rank 14th in victories among NCAA FBS programs. They have a rich tradition in coaching from Clarence Spears, Art "Pappy" Lewis, Bobby Bowden, Don Nehlen, Rich Rodriguez and Dana Holgorsen. The Mountaineer's are known for their quickness, overall team speed and hard play, much of which can be attributed to their 'Master' Strength and Conditioning Director, Mike Joesph and his Staff. Increasing Chin-up Repetitions

Kinematic analysis is used to find the range of motion and muscle activity of a given mechanical movement. When comparing a chin-up with a lat-pull down exercise you find there is variability to the response of the latissimus dorsi, bicep brachii, tricep brachii, pectoralis major, rectus abdominus and erector spinae muscles during the concentric and eccentric phases of the action. Because of this variability inclusion of an exercise such as the Pendulum Lat Combo Pull as part of a chin-up program will be complementary and you will quickly find the number of chin-ups that can be done will increase rapidly. A great way to Get Strong.
